LEN GIFFORD

Len Gifford was born 1945 in London. Len studied civil engineering and during 1968 - 1980 he worked as a Chartered Structural Engineer designing bridges and viaducts for London Transport and the Department of Environment. Len took great interest in sculpturing and enrolled to Leicester University to pursue his passion for sculpting.

After graduation with BA (Hons) in fine art, Len spent nearly twenty years part-timing as commercial sculptor working in Chelsea modelling life-size figures in clay, while creating his own sculptures in his studio in Milton Keynes, the city he helped design in 1970s.  Since 2010 Len focuses on creating sculptures in his MK studio.
