Dinh Ngoc Thang. born 1974, spent his childhood in a small village, surrounded by beautiful streams, bamboos, rice fields. It was where his artistic journey began.

During those days, the school of choice for many youngsters were economic education, science... but for Thang, it was the art school that appealed him.

Thang works mostly with portraiture and still life. In his own words, "I am greatly inspired by the elegant beauty of the woman, the innocence of the children and also the simplicity of daily life. I reflect these in my paintings in a mixture of classical and modern style  of my own." Through the colour movements the viewer can feel the delicacy an romance in Thang's paintings.

Thang's works are hung in several collections in Vietnam and overseas (Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the United State of America, England, France and Netherlands)
